Fire Escape Painting at the La Salle County Downtown Courthouse

The work consists of painting metal fire escape structures and associated metal doors, frames, standpipes, downspouts and conduit at the La Salle County Downtown Courthouse, 119 W. Madison Street, Ottawa, IL 61350. Single prime lump sum contract. Bidder will be required to provide Bid Security in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the bid amount. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for a satisfactory Performance Bond and Labor & Material Payment Bond in the full amount of the contract. Per latest prevailing wage ordinance adopted by La Salle County, the successful bidder shall not pay less than the prevailing rates of wages as determined by the Illinois Department of Labor to all laborers, workmen and mechanics performing work under this contract, and shall comply with the requirements of the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130/1-12). All contractors' bonds shall include a provision as will guarantee the faithful performance of such prevailing wage clause as provided by this bid specification or contract. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive any irregularities in the Bidding, and to award contract in Owner's best interests.
