Description

Mechanical treatments to vegetation on the Hilochee Osprey Unit Wildlife Management Area and Polk Partners parcel as specified herein. Mechanical treatments shall consist of mulching/shredding of up to 209 acres. This project is intended to improve wildlife habitat by reducing vegetation height, compacting fuels for subsequent removal using prescribed fire, and reducing the dominance of non-desirable plant species. No materials, labor or equipment shall be furnished by Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (the Commission).
