Description | DEMOLITION: Remove existing Trane 10ton split heat pump system and dispose of. (The refrigerant must be recovered according to EPA regulations and requirements. No venting of the refrigerant will be allowed. INSTALLATION: Install New Carrier 10 Ton Split Heat Pump HVAC System Two Carrier 5Ton Heat Pumps M#25HCE460AP05 with Winter Start Control, Carrier 10Ton Air Handler M# 40RUQA12T2A5-0A0A0, Staged 25kw Electric Strip Heater M#CAELHEAT010A00, Reuse Existing Wall Thermostat. 1. Replace rusted outdoor disconnects and electrical wire and connections to outdoor units. 2. Confirm existing refrigerant lines meet new system requirements. 3. Flush refrigerant lines and clean before reconnecting system if reusing existing line sets. 4. Contractor’s warranty must cover the new equipment and associated work only for 1 year. 5. Manufacturer Equipment warranty to cover 5 year all parts including compressor. Demolition and disposal of existing equipment is the contractor’s responsibility. Contractor to observe EPA guidelines in recovering and disposing of refrigerant from existing HVAC equipment. 6. Shall include all electrical requirements for a complete operable system per code 7. Verify dimensions of new units prior to installation. |
