| Description | This Integrated Resource Timber Contract (IRTC) is located in Amherst County, Virginia and includes 10 harvest units totaling 276 acres. This IRTC consists of a variety of products ranging from high quality hardwood sawtimber to pulpwood totaling 7,187 CCF. This stewardship project also includes 4 mandatory work items to include the closure of 1 mile of unauthorized roads, Forest Service swing gate installation, 2 cattle guard installations, and construct 3 parking areas. All units are planned for harvest using a rubber tire skidder or crawler tractor (bulldozer) with 125 feet of winch cable. This sale will require three skid bridges. | ||
