Description

This project consist of pavement rehabilitation of the Oconee County Airport Runway. The existing asphalt runway is approximately 5,000 feet long by 100’ wide and will be rehabilitated with new asphalt pavement. Project includes, milling, full depth reclamation (FDR), asphalt paving, pavement marking, shoulder grading and minor adjustments to the airfield electrical system (e.g., relocation and adjustment of existing airfield lights) in accordance with specifications for construction published by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The project also included installation and maintenance of temporary erosion control measures.
