The Village of Waukesha requests lump sum, sealed bids for all material, labor, taxes, and Public Improvement Performance/Labor and Material Payment Bond costs to complete the Work for the referenced project. EXAMINATION OF ROADS Bidders will be permitted to visit the roads at any time, without prior authorization. Access will not be restricted. A Public Bid Opening will be held on June 23, 2022 at 10:00 A.M. at the following location: Waukesha Village Hall W250S3567 Center Road Waukesha, Wisconsin 53189. The Contract may be awarded at the meeting of the Village Board which is scheduled for June 23, 2022 beginning at 6:30 P.M. at the Village Hall. All Bidders are invited to attend. Each bid must be accompanied by either of the following as a guarantee that the successful Bidder will execute the proposed Contract and provide the Public Improvement Performance/Labor and Material Payment Bond within ten (10) calendar days after the Award of Contract: 1) A certified check payable to the Owner in an amount not less than of the full amount of the Base Bid. A corporate surety bid bond in lieu of a certified check in the same amount. AWARD OF CONTRACT After the bids are opened, no bid can be withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) calendar days after the scheduled time of closing bids, without the consent of the Owner.
