Network Infrastructure Upgrade

PROJECT SCOPE The New Albany Floyd County Consolidated School Corporation seeks eligible equipment as outlined in Appendices A, B, and C. Equipment shall be new, factory-sealed equipment currently available from the manufacturer; the New Albany Floyd County Consolidated School Corporation will not accept proposals of used, remanufactured, refurbished, “B stock,” returns, open-box, discontinued, “gray market,” or equipment in any other condition other than new and factory-sealed with all original manufacturer warranties. This project includes multiple contracts; including one for Wireless Access Equipment, one for Network Switching Equipment, and one for UPS Equipment. Respondent may bid one, two, or all three contracts but must provide pricing for all facilities for any contract they bid. We will tabulate the total costs for all buildings for each Contract to determine the low and responsive bidder. Contract(s) will be awarded so all buildings will have the same manufacturer installed for a given contract. Installation services are not required. Preference will be given to bids and equipment that includes perpetual licensing. Proposals should include, as an option, separate pricing for 8 hours of onsite professional training that is manufacturer-specific basic instruction on the use of eligible equipment for the equipment bid in Appendix A, B, and C. Appendix. The training should be directly related to equipment installation and operation, and part of the contract or agreement for the equipment being proposed. New Albany Floyd County Consolidated School Corporation reserves the right to eliminate training based on the equipment makes and models selected.
