Description

The Steamboat Landing Bulkhead Replacement Project consists primarily of the replacement of approximately 330 linear feet of failing bulkheads and reinstallation of roadway on Steamboat Landing Road, an earthen road on Edisto Island in Charleston County, South Carolina. Specific work items involved in the execution of the project include, but are not limited to, road closure, roadway reinstallation, sheet pile installation, helical anchor installation, bulkhead concrete cap installation, erosion control, removal and reinstallation of guardrail, and permanent vegetative cover.
