Description | As of June 14, 2023 all bids for this project have been rejected. At this time, it has not been confirmed if the project will be rebid. This project is located along Sierra College Boulevard near Old Auburn Road and Eureka Road in Roseville, California. The Work to address the capacity deficiency covers the upsizing of existing 8" and 10" PVC gravity sewer pipes, installation of a new weir manhole, a new pump, and electrical improvements to Pump Station 26 located at 9705 Sierra College Blvd., Roseville, CA 95661. Question cut off date: Tuesday, May 30, 2023 The Work is located along Sierra College Boulevard and Rockwood Court and Eureka Road and just past Old Auburn Road in Roseville, California 95661. The Work covers the replacement of existing 8" and 10" PVC gravity sewer pipes via pipe bursting and open cut methods as well as improvements to Pump Station #26 located at 9705 Sierra College Blvd., Roseville, CA 95661. Work Zone 1: a. Open cut replacement of approximately 21 LF of 10" DIP gravity sewer line with 12" VCP Pipe bursting of approximately 172 LF of existing 10" DIP gravity sewer line with 12" HPDE pipe Construction of a weir manhole . Work Zone 2 a. Pipe bursting of approximately 538 LF of existing 8" DIP gravity sewer line with 10" HDPE pipe to be done in segments delineated by manholes A08-010 and BOS196. Work Zone 3 a. Open Cut replacement of approximately 236 LF of existing 8" DIP gravity sewer line with 10" VCP to be done manhole B08-196 to manhole B08-113. Work Zone 4 Pipe bursting of approximately 1204 LF of existing 10" VCP gravity sewer line with 12" HDPE pipe to be done in segments delineated by manholes B08-105, B08-083, and B08-077. Work Zone 5 a. Pipe bursting of approximately 415 LF of existing 10" VCP gravity sewer line with 12" HDPE pipe to be done in segments delineated by manholes B08-077 and B08- 062. Pump Station #26: a. Open cut replacement of approximately 36 LF of 10" DIP gravity sewer line with 12" VCP Removal and Replacement of existing pumps and discharge piping. Electrical: 1) All Electrical Contractor work, including coordination with electric utility and installation of electric service to site including conduit and wiring. 2) Installation of all conduit, wire, supports, pullboxes, etc. to support the new system. d. The Electrical Contractor shall furnish and install all of the systems shown in the Contract Documents, including but not limited to the following: 1) Standby Generator with concrete pad. 2) New Meter/Main Switchboard (MSB) with Main Disconnect and concrete pad. 3) New Motor Control Center (MCC) with concrete pad, Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS), Lighting Panel, Transformer, and Reduced Voltage Soft Starter (RVSS) pump controls with motor overtemperature and seal leakage detection, forward/reversing contactors, and automatic de-ragging functionality. 4) New PLC Control Panel with air conditioner. 5) Associated conduit, wire, fiber optic cabling, pullboxes, supports, field terminal enclosures, and site lighting to support the new system. 6) Wetwell level transducer, three (3) level floats, and associated isolation barriers. e. Instrumentation and Controls: 1) PLC programming, local Operator Interface Terminal programming, and SCADA application programming shall be performed by OTHERS and is excluded from Contractor's Scope of Supply. The Contractor shall coordinate equipment testing as required by the Contract Documents and with the City's Applications Programmer to complete Start-up and Testing requirements. 7. Project Management and Administration: a. Preparing and providing submittals. b. Maintaining project schedule. c. Maintaining As-Built Contract Drawings on a continuous basis. d. Preparing Requests for Information. e. Startup, testing, training and project closeout tasks to provide a complete and functional system The Project features sole-source pre-purchase by the OWNER of some of the major equipment. The CONTRACTOR shall be responsible for the acceptance, handling, installation and startup of this and all other equipment for the Project. The engineer's estimate is approximately $2,100,000 |
