Housing Rehabilitation Program - Siding, Soffit, Gutter (Pendelton)

• Front Porch will need a containment system in place to begin work. The floor must be wet sanded down and scraped loose paint. LBP will require a hepa vacuum. Once old paint is stabilized a new latex exterior floor paint will be applied. • The front- porch beam will be incased in aluminum coil stock. • The back-porch beam and post will be incased in aluminum coil stock. • Side A on the house remove triple window and install replacement window insert, setting installing the window insert back tight to interior window casing and stool. Fur out window exterior window casing with 1x4’s. Foam insulate gap around the window. Cap the exterior wood with coil stock. • Side B has two single double hung and one twin double hung needing sashes and stops removed. Follow the protocol described above. • Side C has one single hung needing sashes and stops removed to except new replacement insert. Follow protocol listed above. • Side D has two twins, one triple, and 2 small awning type windows. Remove sashes and stops, insert new replacements. Follow the protocol listed above for windows. • Sides A, C, & D all have small windows in roof dormers remove and replace with new replacement windows. Note these may need to be fixed glass. • 2 basement windows replaced with new sliders and exterior encased in coil stock. • All exterior doors trim will need furred out and encapsulated. • Install aluminum vented soffits over old wood soffits. Cut holes in the old soffit to allow the roof to breath. • Encase wood facia with aluminum. • Encase existing wood siding in house wrap and fanfold. • Install new vinyl siding. The homeowner’s choice of color. • Install cloth weed barrier and plastic rolled edging under the drip line on partial A, C, and the whole length of D. • New gutters and downs installed
