Description The project entails the installation of a replacement water main which serves the Seminole Park Apartments. The installation of four inch water main, two inch service laterals, along with all necessary valves, meter setters and appurtenances will replace the aging infrastructure which currently serves the apartment complex. The existing water line shall remain in operation until the new system is placed into operation. Work includes, but is not limited to, the installation of all required sediment control measures; tree protection measures; demolition and restoration of sidewalk, pavement, landscaping, and turf; trenching, bedding, and installation of both PVC and HDPE piping; disconnection of all building services, meters, and appurtenances; and testing and disinfection of the distribution system. The site contractor shall locate all existing utilities prior to any excavation at their own expense.
