Description | The Owner, the School Board of Malone Central School District, will receive sealed bids to furnish materials and labor to complete the 2021 Capital Project Phase 2 which includes construction of science lab renovations, art classroom renovation, auditorium renovation, pool renovation, masonry repairs, roof membrane replacement, HVAC upgrades and window replacements. Each bid shall be on a stipulated sum basis for the following contracts: Davis Elementary School SED No. 16-15-01-06-0-018-008 Flanders Elementary School SED No. 16-15-01-06-0-017-012 St. Josephs Elementary School SED No. 16-15-01-06-0-011-008 Malone Middle School SED No. 16-15-01-06-0-001-016 Franklin Academy SED No. 16-15-01-06-0-019-021 The 2021 Capital Project (Phase 2) includes science lab renovations, an art classroom renovation, an Auditorium renovation, a pool renovation, masonry repairs, roof membrane replacement, HVAC upgrades, window replacements, site upgrades, various maintenance repairs and a Pre-K Addition. The scope takes place across five building locations. Bidder must provide Bid Security in the amount and form, per the conditions provided in Section Instructions to Bidders. All Bids will remain subject to acceptance for forty-five (45) days following the receipt of Bids. The Owner may, in its sole discretion, release any Bid and return Bid Security prior to that date. Bids shall not include New York State sales and compensating use taxes on materials and supplies incorporated into the Work, as the Owner being exempt therefrom. Bidders must comply with New York Sate Department of Labor Prevailing Wage Rate Schedule and conditions of employment. The School Board of Malone Central School District reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in the Bids received, or to reject all Bids without explanation. SCOPE: The Work consists of the following, but not limited to: 1. Middle/ High School; Alterations and Reconstruction work to these areas: Main Office Suite, Nurse's Suite, Guidance Suite, Science Rooms, LGI 21st Century space and Maker Space/Esports Classroom, Corridors, Stairwells, Art display, and Toilet Rooms. Infrastructure replacement including window and shade replacement, exterior and interior door replacement, heating unit upgrades, flooring replacement, ceiling replacement, LED lighting upgrades and masonry cleaning.
