Description | Only Civil/Paving MACC Contractors listed on the General Requirements cover page may submit a proposal for this ROICC Camp Lejeune area of responsibility project. See attached documents for scope of work and any applicable drawings. Estimated Cost Range: Between $100,000 and $250,000 Requests for Information (RFIs): RFIs must be submitted by the prime contractor to tony.d.benson.civ@us.navy.mil. The cut off for RFIs is September 1, 2023 by 2:00 PM EST in order to process all inquiries by the proposal due data *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. This project will expand the existing parking lot at SAW400. The existing paint markings will be removed and will be re-painted to be 90 degree parking to match the new parking addition. DETAILED REQUIREMENTS: 1. Remove all existing parking space markings. All existing arrows and stop bars will remain. 2. Remove all existing rock and soil within the limits of new pavement. 3. All subgrade is to be proofrolled under the observation of the NAVFAC construction manager and third party geotechnical engineer prior to ABC stone placement. 4. Install 8" of compacted ABC on top of the compacted subgrade. Compact all ABC stone in lifts at a maximum of 6" each lift. ABC stone must be compacted to 98% of a modified proctor obtained by the third party geotechnical engineer. 5. Install 2" thick asphalt intermediate course - RI19.0-C 6. Install 2" thick asphalt surface course - RS9.5-C 7. Ensure all new asphalt sheet flows to the ditch that parallels old sawmill road. 8. Install new wheel stops in all new asphalt parking spaces. See detail "D" on sheet C103. 9. Re-establish any disturbed vegetation with centipede sod. Question Deadline 09/01/2023 at 2:00 PM ET |
