Description

This is a pre-solicitation notice issued pursuant to FAR 5.201. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) construction contract on a competitive basis using FAR Part 15 Procedures. NUWC Newport, RI has a requirement for interior renovations on the second floor of a metal two story building of approximately 10,000 sf. The requirement includes the removal of existing and provision of flooring, suspended acoustical ceiling, light fixtures, exterior windows, HVAC system, and incidental related work. Existing window sealant contains PCBs. The onsite supervision will require two (2) qualified individuals serving the roles of superintendent, quality control manager, and site safety and health officer.
