Description

The purpose of the project is to install approximately 520 LF of new 12-inch and 5- LF of new 8-inch C.L.D.I. water main, including appropriate valving, appurtenances and hydrants, to serve the residents of the proposed Seasons at Dix Hills development. The new water main will connect to existing 12-inch water main along Deer Park Avenue (N.Y.S. Route 231) and to the existing 8-inch water main on East Half Hollow Road in the Town of Huntington, Suffolk County, NY. The water main will facilitate the future connection of the privately owned water mains within the Seasons at Dix Hills development.
