Description

Supply 21,000 tons of 1.25-inch minus, red limestone base course delivered to Badlands National Park (meets South Dakota State Department of Transportation specifications for aggregate). The material will be delivered along the roadway at Sage Creek Rim Road using the spread dump concept (6.45 miles). NPS crews will grade the road as deliveries occur. Delivery of material is expected to be approximately 1,000 tons per day. A contract period of 45 days is anticipated and includes anticipated weather delays based on normal weather patterns. Contractor will be responsible for all haul road agreements with the appropriate entity (county, state). Use of belly dump capable trucks, in a single or double combination is essential. Quality assurance testing and weight tickets are required.
