2019 Sidewalk Construction

The installation of a six-foot (6’) sidewalk along the west side of nelson road between Evergreen at River Oaks Apartments driveway and West Mcneese Street, the installation of a five-foot (5’) sidewalk on the west side of Canal Street between West Mcneese Street and W. Sale Road, the installation of a five-foot (5’) sidewalk along the south side of Madeline Street between Common Street and Kirkman Street, the installation of a four- to five-foot (4’-5’) sidewalk along the south side of Illinois street between Brentwood Avenue and E. Walton Street, and the removal and replacement of existing concrete curbing and a five-foot (5’) sidewalk along the east and west sides of Bilbo Street between Clarence Street and Iris Street. It also includes the installation and adjustment of subsurface drainage systems along Nelson Road and Canal Street, the removal and installation of driveways impacted by sidewalk placement, and the installation of a retaining wall along the sidewalk located on the east side of Bilbo Street.
