All bids must be accompanied by bid security equal to 5% of the amount of the bid, in the form of a certified check, cashier's check or a bid bond written by a company properly licensed in Mississippi. Bids must be submitted on the standard form of bid proposal, and the successful bidder will be required to execute the standard form of contract and agreement, together with a 100% performance bond and a 100% payment bond, within fifteen (15) days after formal award of the contract.
