Description | ** This project has been awarded to Jones & Roberts Co. in the amount of $18,950,000. ** The contract includes general trades, mechanical, electrical, and related site work for a new two-story fire station of primary wood frame with steel and concrete elements. Station will include fire apparatus parking area with supporting functions. Living and sleeping quarters for 24 hour use by fire department personnel. Administrative headquarter also occupies level 1 of the building. Station is approximately 36,000 square feet in total. Base bid cost range of $14,800,000 to $16,630,000 not including sales tax. This project is subject to meet Washington State prevailing wages rates. All work performed on the project will be subject to the approved wage determination rates in the bid documents. The successful bidder shall enter into a contract in accordance with the bid and shall furnish a Performance Bond, separate Labor & Material Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the bid amount, and insurance. All bid proposals shall be deemed to be offers to enter into a contract and shall be irrevocable for a period of thirty (30) days from the date of the opening of the bids. |
