RFQ Construction Manager - Construction Management Services for Moffitt Library Seismic Safety

Renovation of an educational facility in Berkeley, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 150,000-square-foot educational facility. Capital Projects at the University of California, Berkeley (University), requests that interested individuals and firms submit written statements of qualifications to provide construction management services for the Moffitt Library Seismic Safety Project. Moffitt Library building is centrally located on the University Campus, off University Drive at the Moffitt Service Road in Berkeley CA. It is a five level building with the main entrances on the south side of Level 3 and the east side of Level 4. There is a loading dock on the north side of Level 2. The building is tucked into the hillside with the lower three floors partially underground. It is a poured-in-place concrete structure with significant cantilevers and the floor slabs are post tensioned concrete. The exposed castin-place concrete structure that seem to be in good condition. The floor-to-floor height is 14. The total area of the building is around 150,000 GSF.
