Sheridan County School District No. 2 Junior High School Air Handling Unit, Zone & Temperature Control Upgrade

Site Directions: Sheridan Junior High School 500 Lewis Street Sheridan, Wyoming The work includes replacement of two (2) existing central station air handling units which serve all three floor levels of the Jr. High School with new, modular, semi-custom, variable air volume, air handling units fitted with improved filtration, full economizer functions, chilled water and heating hot water system retrofits, and new direct drive supply and return fan motors fitted with VFD's. Project will also consist of retrofitting two (2) existing central station air handling units serving the two existing gyms in the facility with new fan motors and fan bearings, improved filtration, new motor VFD's, controls, and adding new power exhaust systems to serve the two existing gymnasiums for use during economizer functions. Project includes replacement of ninety (90) existing zone VAV boxes throughout the building with minor ductwork revisions for each zone as well as a full building temperature control upgrade. Electrical upgrades will accommodate the mechanical scope of work. Architectural / Structural upgrades consist of general work to support the mechanical scope of work. Fire suppression upgrades will be included within the main AHU mechanical room to support ductwork layout revisions as indicated within the Construction Documents. Est.
