Description | The project Lakeshore Drive includes safety improvements on the two curves from Crescent Pines Boulevard to Harder Road/Lake Susan Street. The total length of the project is approximately 4,937 feet (0.93 miles). The construction activities included are along the two curves for a length of 1,966 feet (0.37 miles) to add 8-foot shoulders (5 foot paved and 3 foot unpaved), milling and resurfacing to establish proper super elevation slopes, the other construction activities include driveway reconstruction, mobilization, maintenance of the traffic, erosion control, excavation, embankment, signing and pavement marking. Drainage modifications include installation of pipe, mitered end sections and 4-inch thick concrete ditch pavement. at Kingfisher Drive a section of the road is proposed to be deep milled and resurfaced for average depth of 2.8. The project Lake Louisa Road includes the construction of roadway safety improvements along Lake Louisa Road from northwest of Gleason Way to south of Hammock Ridge Road. The length of the improvements is approximately 2,798 feet (0.52 miles). The scope of work includes milling and resurfacing, the construction of 8-foot wide shoulders (2 ft. paved minimum), solar powered speed feedback signs, and additional signing and pavement markings. Drainage improvements include regrading existing roadside ditches to maintain proper conveyance. Additional construction activities include maintenance of traffic, mobilization, erosion control and earthwork. The County shall construct the projects within the limits of existing right of way. |
