Widefield Community Park-Crews Gulch Regional Trail Paving Project

Reference Number 0000310993 El Paso County is soliciting responses from qualified, experienced, professional Contractors to furnish all materials and labor as necessary for the Widefield Community Park-Crews Gulch Regional Trail Paving Project. The project site is located in Widefield Community Park, between Quebec Street and Widefield Boulevard in El Paso County. The project site is also a part of the Crews Gulch Regional Trail system. The majority of Crews Gulch Regional Trail has been paved with concrete in the past years. This project will construct an 8'-wide concrete sidewalk on top of the existing crusher fine surface trail, as well as a wooden pedestrian bridge that crosses a small swale. The Project will provide scour protection for the wooden bridge that will generally include installation of riprap at the abutment and piers and minor channel grading. Riprap will also be installed at both sides of the existing double culvert that crosses under the Crews Gulch Regional trail near Widefield Boulevard. The Contractor to whom a contingent award is made shall duly execute and deliver a Performance and Payment Bond to the County in an amount that represents 100% of the price offered by the Contractor
