Exterior Painting of Village Hall

GENERAL The entire Village Hall exterior is to be prepared for painting and painted including all clapboard surfaces, trim, window and doors, porch columns, trim, railings and decking. REMOVALS Shutters, air conditioning units and signs shall be removed prior to painting the building. Repair as necessary, paint and reinstall shutters. Reinstall air conditioning units and signs after painting the building. SURFACE PREPARATION Scrape off and sand all areas of loose paint from all exterior surfaces. After the removal of loose paint power wash all exterior surfaces. Protect light fixtures and electric service entrance closet. After power washing sand and wipe down all exposed wood surfaces. CAULKING Caulk as required all open seams and joints in siding and trim. PAINTING Clapboard, trim & columns: one coat oil primer and two coats latex exterior paint Porch Decking: one coat oil primer and two coats latex deck paint
