WRC Custodial Services

1. The work covered in this specification includes furnishing all labor, equipment, cleaning supplies, and supervision necessary for a complete custodial service. It shall be understood that in addition to these services, all tasks incidental to cleaning functions not specifically listed but normally included in general custodial practices will be provided. 2. Cleaning specifications will apply to the present location of rooms and minor alterations in the physical layout or changes in operation will not affect the provisions of the Contract. 3. The custodial task and frequency schedule indicate the minimum acceptable cleaning frequencies. 4. Vendors must supply cleaning supplies. WRC will designate a secure location for storage of supplies. (That location can be discussed with each individual unit supervisor). **Oakland County will supply the following restroom supplies: paper towels, toilet tissue, feminine sanitary products, and hand soap. 5. . The Contractor will employ only personnel who are proficient in performing custodial services using modern equipment, methods, and techniques. All custodial personnel shall present a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance and be of good moral character. The County reserves the right to require the replacement of any employee whose deeds or conduct is detrimental to the County. 6. Contractor's employees shall not utilize any County telephones, office equipment, furnishing , or custodial supplies (vendor must supply appropriate equipment and supplies). 7. The Contractor shall provide Oakland County and keep current, a list of all employees, by name, title, address, social security number, driver’s license number, and male or female who are employed by the Contractor and assigned to work at these facilities. If an employee is terminated, County personal must be informed, and Oakland County badge must be returned. 8. Contractor employees shall eat and take breaks in assigned areas only
