LED Lighting for Various County Buildings

The work specified under this bid shall include furnishing and installing all labor, material, and equipment necessary to complete the installation and connection of the proposed LED fixture upgrade or LED fixture retrofit for various County owned buildings. The lighting upgrade will consist of a one for one change out. The upgraded LED fixtures or LED light fixture retrofit furnished by the contractor shall have minimum life expectancy of 74,000 hours and shall include a manufacturer’s warranty. The lighting upgrade will consist of a one for one change out. The following is a list of general work to be performed under this contract. The work shall not be limited by these descriptions. a. Disconnect, remove, and dispose of existing light fixture or portions of light fixtures as required for a retrofit. Fixtures shall only be disconnected as they are upgraded. b. Contractor shall furnish and install new LED light fixture or LED light fixture retrofit and any hangars, wiring, or cabling and any associated equipment and hardware as required to complete the installation. c. Perform any wire and cable terminations, cutting, drilling, and/or patching that may be required. d. All work shall be completed by or under the supervision of a certified electrician and shall comply with 2020 NEC and the NYS Building Code.
