H345--FY22: Water Tank Cleaning

Tank 1: 1. Pressure wash exterior dome and recoating the dome with a flexible, breathable coating such as Tnemec Enivorcrete 156, or equal. Contractor shall submit color as closely matching existing tank color as possible to be approved by VA COR. 2. Sandblast and coat ductile iron pipes on tank interior with a protective coating suitable for use in potable water tanks such as AquataPoxy A-6, or equal. Repair material shall meet the requirements of ANSI/NSF Standard 61. 3. Replace screens on center vent with a minimize size 20 mesh. 4. Replace screens on emergency overflow openings with a minimize size 20 mesh. 5. Seal Vent on Dome of tank. Tank 2: 1. Replace the screen on the emergency overflow openings with a minimize size 20 mesh. 2. Seal stainless steel center vent at dome 3.
