Description | The scope of work includes the provision by the Contractor of all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, and supplies necessary to complete the work. The Project will be “turn key” and require minimal involvement of Authority personnel. The work to be performed at Chapel Hill Farms Lift Station shall be: Provide a temporary bypass line around the lift station. Construct permanent 16” ductile iron pipe to bypass bypass the lift station. Drain remaining sewerage from the lift station wet wells and piping. Remove both submersible pumps and return to the Authority. Remove and dispose of all piping, valves, electrical equipment, and other ancillary equipment in the wet wells and vaults. Fill in-place all vaults and wet wells. Discontinue electrical service to the lift station. The work to be performed at Anneewakee Retreat Lift Station shall be: Install temporary bypass pumping such that the Authority’s operations are always maintained. Demolish two existing submersible pumps and associated equipment, conduit, 10” ductile iron piping, and associated valves and materials in wet wells and valve box. Clean the wet wells’ interior surfaces and all discharging piping inside the wet well prior to the installation of the epoxy coating. Patch and repair all concrete surface irregularities in the wet wells. Apply epoxy coating to all interior surfaces of the wet wells as well as all discharge piping inside the wet well. Install two new submersible pumps along with 12” ductile iron pipe and associated valving and materials. Upgrade existing power grid and SCADA system to deliver the generator’s maximum output of 455 HP. |
