Dobrey Slough Pump Station Replacement

Furnishing all labor, equipment and materials necessary to complete the various items of work for construction of a new flood control pump station and the demolition and removal of the existing facility, electrical work, grading and ancillary items related to the work as shown on the plans and as specified. Bidders may bid any Contracts, individually or in combination, for the proposed work. Bidders do not have to bid all contracts to be considered. The successful bidder will be required to execute and present a performance and payment bond in a sum equal to the full amount of the contract. Bids must be for the contract as a whole. No bidder may withdraw his bid within ninety (90) days after the scheduled time of closing bids. All bids must be made on forms furnished by the City of Granite City. All applicable laws, ordinances, and rules and regulations of all authorities having jurisdiction over construction of the project shall apply to the contract. This project is subject to availability of project funds. The City of Granite City reserves the right to waive, or not to waive, any irregularities in the bids; to reject any or all bids; and to determine which bid is the lowest and best for the improvements.
