Description

The Project generally includes the replacement and refurbishment of the existing elevator equipment (traction and hydraulic), the addition of a new HVAC system to serve the elevator machine rooms and rework of elevator electrical service. The project also includes limited metal stud/drywall shaft walls with rated hollow metal doors and frames, limited plumbing and masonry work. Work is to take place in two phases: freight elevator (traction) in phase 1, public elevator (hydraulic) in phase 2. Elevators that are not part of the "current" phase of work shall remain operational.
