| Description | In coordination with the center Corpsmember Development Staff (CMD), the counselor provides counseling to Corpsmembers. Growing from the core element, the on-site counselor provides an expanded array of services such as; individual counseling, group counseling, lead support groups, education and personal development classes/workshops (such as sexual assault prevention), peer leadership development, peer counseling, staff counseling, staff consultation and training, Identifying and engaging Corpsmembers into counseling program and referral to community services. In other words, the on-site counselor will work in conjunction with the District Director and center staff to continue to develop the overall design of the on-site counseling program. |
