Description | The objective of this RFP is to secure the services of an experienced monitoring contractor who is capable of efficiently overseeing and monitoring the removal of large volumes of disaster-generated Debris (other than household putrescible garbage) from public property, public right-of-ways, and at Temporary Debris Staging and Reduction Sites, in a timely and cost-effective manner, and ensuring the disposal of all Debris in a lawful manner, immediately after a hurricane or other natural or manmade disaster. The Successful Proposer must be capable of assembling, directing, and managing a work force that can complete the Debris monitoring operations in a maximum of 120 calendar days. The Successful Proposer shall meet the accelerated Debris removal timeframes outlined by FEMA in the Sandy Recovery Improvement Act (January 2013), or its successor.
