Haul and Process Single Stream Recyclables

The duration of the Contract will be for 24 months with extensions as permitted by law, when in agreement to do so by both the awarded vendor and the ACUA. All bidders must meet equal opportunity requirements of P.L. N.J.S.A 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27, as described in the specifications. Bidders are responsible for affirmative action compliance. Bids that arrive late due to the fault of U. S. Postal Service, United Parcel Service, DHL, FEDEX, any delivery/courier service, or any other carrier of any sort are still considered late and shall not be accepted by the Authority. Such bids shall remain unopened and will be returned to the submitting entity upon request. The Authority is not responsible for the loss or destruction of any bid submitted to the Purchasing Manager before the time set for bid opening. The specification shall include the hauling and processing of single stream recyclables located at the ACUA Recycling Center (building 2) located at the Haneman Environmental Park 6700 Delilah Road Egg Harbor Township New Jersey. Included shall be all labor, material, tools, equipment and incidentals necessary to complete this work in accordance with the specifications.
