Description | The deadline to ask questions is 9/23/2022 12:00 PM CST Contractor will replace fencing for fields and dugouts at all three (3) Pee Wee Fields located at Madge Griffith Park as shown in Exhibit 1 and Exhibit 2. The total fence material required is appoximated at: 1,800-lf of fencing and support structures All posts are to be SCH 40 and set in 3-ft of concrete Corner posts are to be 3-inch diameter Gate posts are to be 4-inch diameter Line posts are to be 2 1/2-inch diameter Fence rails are to be 1 5/8-inch with a minimum 2.27 lbs. per linear foot weight. All connectors, caps, and hardware is to be pre-approved galvanized material. The fence fabric is to be 9-gauge 2 oz. galvanized without PVC coating. Specific details regarding the dugout fencing / roof attachment requirements will be discussed at the Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting. Any project questions should be posted on the Portal. The required bid documents (one marked "original" and one marked "copy") in a sealed envelope are (1) Proposal (2) Bid Form (3) Statement of Experience of Bidder (4) Bid Bond or Cashier's Check. Please label your envelope with the Project Title and Project Number. If you are delivering the envelope in person, be sure to stop at the cashier's desk, so that they can time and date stamp the envelope. NOTE: No hard copies of the safety program, provide a disk or USB / Flash Drive. Thank you for participating in our bid project. We are following social distancing protocol. No bid may be withdrawn or terminated for a period of thirty (30) days subsequent to the opening date without the written consent of the Engineer. All bids shall be accompanied by a Bidder's Bond or a Certified or Cashier's Check upon a State or National Bank of the State of Texas in the amount of five (5%) percent of the total bid amount. The City of Lake Jackson reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to accept any bid deemed advantageous. This is a "Public Works" project and provisions of the "Prevailing Wage Law on Public Work in Texas" must be complied with. Prevailing Wages for Brazoria County, Texas is a part of this contract. |
