Brownstown Road Reconstruction Project Rebid2

As of March 22, 2023, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. Per Civil Engineer, no bids received. Bidders must obtain their own set of documents from the issuing office in order to be an eligible bidder. The Brownstown Area Road Reconstruction Project will include street reconstruction with 6,000+- SY full depth reclamation, 6,000+- SY 9.5 MM 1.5 depth wearing course. The Bid Proposal must be a paper copy, with an original signature, submitted in an envelope along with the original bid security and all other required documentation, all as described in the Instructions to Bidders. Each proposal shall be accompanied with a certified check or Bidders Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the proposal, in favor of the County of Armstrong OBO Kiskiminetas Township. No faxed Bids will be accepted. The County of Armstrong OBO Kiskiminetas Township reserves the right to waive any informality and to accept or reject any and all bids. No Bid may be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of opening bids. Davis Bacon Wage Rates will apply to this contract. The contract documents contain requirements addressing labor wage rates, labor standards, nondiscrimination in hiring practices, goals for minority and female participation, MBE AND WBE participation, participation by Section 3 residents and businesses, and related matters. The bidder must submit documentary evidence of Minority/Women Business Enterprises and Section 3 business concerns who have been contacted and to whom commitments have been made. Documentation of such solicitations and commitments shall be submitted with the Bid.
