Green Stormwater Infrastructure Improvements Barkers Island Marina

Establishment of site sediment and erosion controls including perimeter sediment barriers, turbidity curtain, sediment trap, tracking pad, grading of gravel parking area to direct runoff to sediment trap during construction, removal and disposal of selected trees, installation of wetland outlet consisting of concrete weir wall anchored in place with helical piles, grading and construction of a stormwater treatment wetland with two wetland cells, forebay and maintenance access (9000 sf wetland, 0.5 acre total area disturbed), installation of two rock weirs separation wetland areas, removal and disposal of excess soil, removal of sediment trap and installation of riprap-lined forebay, removal of perimeter sediment controls once site is stabilized (site stabilization; seeding, mulching, erosion control blankets and establishment of wetland vegetation will be contracted separately from the wetland construction) .
