Schaumburg Sports Center - Gymnasium Roof Upgrade

Notice is hereby given that the Schaumburg Park District will be receiving sealed bids from potential bidders for Schaumburg Sports Center - Gymnasium Roof Upgrade - Project# 22-143, at 1141 W Irving Park Rd, Schaumburg IL 60193. Note that to avoid any potential delays in roofing material delivery, the Park District has elected to pre-purchase all the required roofing material, which will be assigned to the successful contractor upon contract award. Bid package includes details on the extent of pre-purchased items. Plan holders are also required to include all business information within the email request with current contact information should the Owner need to issue any memorandum throughout the bidding process. Project will start April 3, 2023. Project work must be completed no later than May 30, 2023. Prospective Bidders must make a site visit and fully acquaint themselves with conditions as they exist so that they may fully understand the facility, difficulties and restrictions attending the execution under the contract. The Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130/.01, et seq.) (the "Act") shall apply to the Project Work. The Board of Commissioners of the Schaumburg Park District reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and; also reserves the right to accept only portions of a proposal and reject the remainder. The Board reserves the right to waive any technicalities. Request for information or questions regarding the plans and spec will be 11:00 AM, Tuesday Jan 24th, 2023. No further questions will be answered after that time. Addendum will be issued Wednesday, Feb 1st, 2023, listing all questions asked during the bid process.
