Description

This project can not start until the window replacement project at this facility is complete. Anticipated start of this painting project is May/June 2023 and must be completed no later than June 15,2023. Thoroughly clean, scrape, caulk, treat for mildew and generally prep the entire exterior surface of the Lodge to provide a good bonding surface for the primer coat. Any holes3/8" or bigger should be filled with appropriate two-part epoxy wood filler and smoothed before painting. If power washing is the preferred cleaning method, extreme care must be taken as to not damage the soft log exterior. Surface should be completely dry to manufacture specs before the application of caulk, fillers or prime coat. Following manufactures specifications, painting will consist of one(1) coat of Sherwin Williams pro block primer or equivalent and two(2) coats flat latex, Sherwin Williams Latitude or equivalent. Color to be chosen by City. Successful bidder must follow all state and local codes, OSHA safety requirements, industry best practice standards and EPA regulations on this project. Special care must be taken to protect the stone fireplace, sidewalks, HVAC equipment, propane tanks, electrical devices and vegetation from any over-spray, spillage or splatter of primer and paint.
