West High and North Jameson Sewer Rehabilitation Project

As of 8/23/2021 City of Lima is rejecting all bids submitted for this Project. The proposed Work is generally described as follows:The project includes the rehabilitation of 2,212 linear feet of 54-inch diameter and 549 linear feet of 78-inch diameter combined sewer using a geopolymer structural liner. All laterals will be reinstated following rehabilitation of the sewer main. Additionally, the project includes demolition of 1,782 linear feet of spiral wound polyethylene steel reinforced liner from the existing 54-inch diameter sewer prior to rehabilitation with geopolymer. Three new manholes will be provided and eight existing manholes will be rehabilitated with geopolymer. All questions regarding the Bidding Document shall be submitted via email to Black & Veatch Corp., attention Janel Simpson at SimpsonJ@bv.com. The Work shall be subject to the prevailing rate of wages as established by the Davis-Bacon Wage Determination requirements.The Successful Bidder will be required to furnish a construction performance bond and a construction payment bond as security for the faithful performance and the payment of all bills and obligations arising from the performance of the Contract. Performance bond and construction payment bond shall each be in an amount at least equal to the bid Contract price.
