Description | As of March 17, 2023, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. Disclaimer: These documents are for viewing purposes only. Anybody who wishes to submit a bid MUST obtain the documents from Gianforcaro Architects, Engineers & Planners Phase III Building Renovations Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-26, in order to submit a Bid for the Project, Bidders, and/or a Bidders' subcontractor, if applicable, shall be classified by the New Jersey Department of the Treasury, Division of Property Management and Construction C008 (General Construction) or C009 (General Construction Alterations/Additions) with not less than five (5) years of experience. In addition, the bidder, or bidder's subcontractors, must comply with the identification and classification requirements of N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-18, to the extent the services of a prime trade-classified contractor or subcontractor are required on the project, per the specifications. Bidders on this project must identify and include subcontractors classified in C030 (Plumbing), C032 (HVACR), and C047 (Electrical), if bidder is not classified to perform such work. Additional subcontractors, if any, shall be in accordance with the project specifications. The anticipated date for project completion will be August 18, 2023. Additional milestone dates per the Contract Documents. The Mount Olive Board of Education reserves the unqualified right to reject any and all bids or any part thereof in accordance with, to waive any non-material informality in the bids, and to award the bid to a responsible and responsive bidder. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days from the date set for the opening of the bids, as set forth above. It is recommended that all Bidders attend the Pre-Bid Meeting and familiarize themselves with the Project Site prior to submitting a bid. The failure of the Bidder to visit the Site is at Bidder's own risk. Proper safety precautions and social distancing must be observed. Bids may be sent to the attention of Gail Libby, Business Administrator, at the Board of Education office address listed above; however, no bid will be considered, regardless of the postmark, unless it is received in the Business Administrator's office prior to the time set for the opening of the bids. |
