| Description | Disposal of its municipal solid waste (MSW). The Town intends to issue an initial contract for disposal for a minimum of 5 years although longer terms will be considered. The term will commence on January 1, 2021 and end no sooner than December 31, 2025. The Town of Henniker Transfer Station processes approximately 1500 tons of MSW annually. The transfer station utilizes a compactor system and compacting trailers to process and move this material. Approximately one trailer load of MSW is extracted from the transfer station weekly weighing approximately 27 tons. |
