| Description | The contractor shall receive shipped environmental sample extracts, maintain quality control over them, analyze them, and provide resulting data and metadata to the USGS. Analyses will be performed following approved (EPA or similar organization) methods with standardized QA/QC procedures. Standard QA/QC methods include analysis of blanks, duplicates, and appropriate internal control or reference material for each batch of chemical analyses. Reporting will include a definition of all laboratory flags, and information on sample detection, method detections, and reporting limits. The QA/QC methods shall be described, and a report of the QA/QC results provided with each batch of analyses. |
