RFQ - Water and Sewer Systems and Street Improvements for the Ishani Ridge Subdivision

Site work and paving for a civil project in Pahrump, Nevada. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; water / sewer project; and water / sewer project. Under the Court's authority in conjunction with Case No. CV 20-0213, is soliciting proposals from qualified firms or individuals to serve as a Project Manager for the completion of water and sewer systems and street improvements for the Ishani Ridge subdivision in Pahrump, Nevada. There is already an approved Scope of Work ("SOW") for completion of the water and sewer systems and street improvements. The Project Manager will obtain quotes or estimates for completion of the water and sewer systems and street improvements, report the results of the quotes received, make recommendations (subject to Court approval) of the contractors to work on the water and sewer systems and street improvements, make regular reports to the Court as well as to Nye County, Nevada Public Works Department, the Court and Great Basin Water Company ("GBWC"); execute the contracts with the selected contractors after the contracts are approved by the Court; prepare certificates of completion subject to approval of the Court and perform related tasks, all subject to final Court approval. Interested and qualified firms or individuals that have experience and expertise in oversight, management, preparation of procurement documents and contracts, managing contractors, and construction schedules are invited to submit a proposal in accordance with the instruction in the RFQ/RFP. A "response package" has been prepared and includes the Information for Responders, and other related documents. All responses must be in a sealed envelope clearly marked "QUALIFIED PROJECT MANAGER FOR ISHANI RIDGE PROJECT". No verbal (oral), e-mailed or facsimile transmitted responses will be accepted or considered. It is anticipated that the Responses to the RFQ's and RFP's will be reviewed by Department One of the Fifth Judicial District Court on or about February 15, 2022 and a Project Manager will be selected shortly thereafter. Department One of the Fifth Judicial District Court expressly reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any and all responses or proposals. Department 1 ofthe Fifth Judicial District Court for Nye County, Nevada (Court) is soliciting proposals from qualified firms or individuals to serve as a Project Manager for the completion of water and sewer systems and street improvements for the Ishani Ridge subdivision in Pahrump, Nevada. There is approximately $3,400,000.00 (Three million, four hundred thousand dollars) of bond money to be allocated to the completion of water and sewer systems and street improvements for the Ishani Ridge subdivision in Pahrump, Nevada. First Phase - The Project Manager will procure quotes or estimates for completion of the already approved SOW for the water and sewer systems and street improvements which SOW is attached as Exhibit 2 to this RFQ/RFP. The Project Manager will obtain quotes or estimates for completion of the improvements, report the results of the quotes received to County, GBWC and the Court, make recommendations (subject to Court approval) of the contractors to work on the water and sewer systems and street improvements. Second Phase - The Project Manager will make regular reports on the progress of the construction to the Court as well as to Nye County, Nevada Public Works Department and GBWC; execute the contracts with the selected contractors after the contracts are approved by the Court; prepare certificates of completion subject to approval of the Court and perfonn related tasks, all subject to final Court approval. The Project Manager will NOT have authority to approve change orders but must submit requests for change orders to the Nye County Public Works Department, GBWC and the Court for approval. The Project Managers specific Scope of Work is set forth at Exhibit 3 attached hereto and incorporated by reference herein.
