It is the intent of these plans & specification to obtain a contract for the replacement of the landscape and irrigation at the Ruthe Jackson Center Garden by the City of Grand Prairie Parks, Arts and Recreation Department. Removal of existing trees, shrubs, groundcover, topsoil, mulch, irrigation equipment and any deleterious material within the limits of construction. 1.2. Protection and preservation of existing trees and shrubs to remain. 1.3. Installing trees, shrubs, groundcover, topsoil, and mulch. 1.4. Modifying existing irrigation system and adding new irrigation equipment and components for a complete irrigation system. 1.5. Installation of ornamental stone and flagstone paving 1.6. Installation of metal fence, gate and decorative panels (bid alternatives) 1.7. Purchase and installation of decorative planters and plant material (bid alternative)
