Description

Construction repair work on its Police Station, Fire Station living quarters, storage building behind Fire Station, and Fitness Center (South of City Hall). The work of constructing said improvements will be let under one contract. Principal items of work are as follows: Building 1: Police Station Install +/- 144 sq. ft. black suspended ceiling Remove light fixtures (4) and replace with 2' x 2' LED laid-n light fixtures (4) Building 2: Fire Station Living Quarters: Remove bathroom 5' vanity counters (2) Building 3: Storage Building behind Fire Station: Repair damaged wood Remove and replace steel framed entrance doors Install 26 ga. Metal roof Prep and paint exterior Building 4: Fitness Center (South of City Hall): Tear out paneling, front entrance doors, kitchen, and existing light fixtures. Install entrance twin doors, metal or fiberglass, glazed Make necessary plumbing accommodations for the alterations Install mop sink in kitchen Remove and replace chair height toilet and lavatory. Add Delta chrome faucet. Prep and paint complete interior of building (ceiling, walls, and trim). Install LED flush mount 2 x 4 ceiling light fixtures (6). Seal all rear and side windows with concrete block Replace remaining windows (4) with Low E vinyl replacement windows Blow in a minimum of R-30 attic insulation Remove heat units from building. Remove HVAC unit and seal with concrete block Install mini-split HVAC with dual interior heads units adequate for square footage Install LED light fixtures in auxiliary rooms Update electrical where necessary Install decorative shutters on windows on front facade Prep and paint exterior Install 6' seamless gutter across rear building Install point of use hot water heater for the bathroom sink and mop sink
