Air-Cooled Chiller Replacement - Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship

The Work under the Contract consists of: 1. All Work either shown on the Drawings or included in the Specifications unless specifically indicated as not to be done. 2. Removal and replacement of the existing roof mounted chiller, AHU-3 and associated exhaust air handling unit ERC-1 heat recovery coil system. The new chiller shall be connected to existing building chilled water piping distribution and automatic temperature control system. The new chiller shall be connected to the existing system and shall be tested, adjusted and balanced prior to being placed in permanent operation. The existing chiller water distribution piping system shall be drained to the point of existing isolation valves in order to perform the work indicated on the contract documents, this shall include cleaning, flushing, filling and chemical treatment associated with the existing and new piping. The new and existing AHU-3 and exhaust air handling unit ERC-1 heat recovery coil piping shall be cleaned and flushed and provide with chemical treatment. The chilled water and heat recovery coil piping shall be filled with 30% by volume propylene glycol solution. Instructions: RFI's should be sent to mboyle@umassp.edu
