Description

Treatment of broad leaf invasive species on approximately 250 acres of upland habitat at Tulelake NWR. Some of the treatment area consist of uneven and rocky terrain and soft soils that may limit access for off road vehicles (Fig. 2). The remaining area contains cryptogrammic soils that will be damaged by off road equipment. Because of this, aerial application is recommended wherever possible. Work will include the treatment of pepperweed (Lepidium latifolium), Canada thistle (Cirsium arvense), and Scotch thistle (Onopordum acanthium). Data must be recorded in a format compatible with ArcGIS mapping software and submitted prior to the release of payment.
