Description

Contractor shall provider all labor, items, articles, materials, delivery, equipment, tools, and operations to preserve historic plaster, paint, and wall paper finishes for the Best House, Best House Second Dwelling and Worthington House located on Monocacy National Battlefield: to include the following tasks: Verify stability of the plaster and provide temporary stabilization, as needed, remove loose existing, lead-based paint, ceiling plaster repairs, erect and disassemble OSHA compliant scaffolding for structural support and access, raise distorted plaster back to intended plain and apply adhesive tie to plaster and wood lath, repair damaged and missing areas using traditional three coat plaster system, provide a variety of plaster repairs, consolidate wall paper and paint finishes found on plaster walls and woodwork, and prep and paint to match historic finishes.
