Description | CLIN #1 REPAIR ROOF - BLDG. 51: The Contractor shall include the work herein but not limited to the removal the existing roof membrane and insulation down to the existing metal decking. Inspection of the roof decking material shall be accomplished to determine if any metal decking is damaged and if so, how much. Include in proposal labor cost for 5000 sq. ft. of deck replacement with the GFE (see below) provided material. If decking is replaced, ensure devices (smoke detectors, etc.) that may be mounted to the bottom side of the decking are removed and replaced on new decking. Mechanically fasten 2 layers of 2.2" insulation (r-24) over the existing metal deck. Install a 60 mil Rhino-bond PVC membrane roof system over the newly installed insulation. Flash all wall, curbs, stacks, pitch pockets, drain, and exhausts fans. Install new ES-1 coping metal on all walls. Haul away all roof debris, see below regarding waste reporting. Provide owner with a 20 year manufacture warranty and a lightning protection ground resistance test verifying that the lightning protection which was removed during the roof removal was properly reconnected. See Attachment A for building 51 drawings and info. CLIN #2 REPAIR ROOF - BLDG. 5: The Contractor shall include the work herein but not limited to the removal the existing roof membrane and insulation down to the existing metal decking. Include in proposal labor cost for 600 sq. ft. of deck replacement with the GFE (see below) provided material.
