Palmer Park Expansion Site Work

Expanding Palmer Park by building new facilities on land located immediately east of the existing park on Palmer Road. These new facilities include two large, multi-purpose fields, a dog park, a playground, field and site lighting, a parking lot, and restroom & concessions building, to be used simultaneously as a "trailhead" for the Bradford Creek Greenway and for the Park. Additionally, this project includes an extension of the Bradford Creek Greenway, connecting it from its current terminus south and east to the multi-use path under construction at the Dublin Farms subdivision. This extension includes a creek crossing at both Bradford Creek and Mill Creek. The scope of work for this project includes the civil site work to construct the majority of these improvements, including the fields, parking lot, and dog park. Preparation and infrastructure for the lighting, restroom/concessions building, and playground are included in this project, although actual installation of those items will be separate contracts. Site grading, storm and sanitary sewer improvements, the widening of Palmer Road for a turn lane into the park, and all grassing are included in this project.
